Episode 33
33 - Reaping the Whirlwind
In this episode, Emily and James catch listeners up on many of the activities and actions coming from the Trump Administration over the first month in office. Executive orders, tariffs, eliminating federal agencies and, of course, the DOGE initiative.
Along the way, Emily expresses concern over the programs managed by the Department of Education, James explains how tariffs work and why he thinks they are a poor policy tool, and they both discuss Trump's increasingly hostile attitude towards the federal courts.
